Rug cleaning in Cape Town
Professional rug cleaning in Cape Town
We clean area rugs, runners, and decorative rugs on-site across Cape Town. Most enquiries are about food spills, pet marks, or a rug that has lost its colour. WhatsApp or call us on 064 589 4148 — a photo helps us say what is realistic before we quote.

How we clean rugs
We check the fibre and backing first. A wool Persian and a polypropylene shaggy rug do not get the same treatment — getting that wrong is what ruins rugs. Colour is tested on a hidden corner where older dyes can move. Cleaning is done at your address, and we tell you how long the rug will need to dry before we leave.
Tell us the fibre when you enquire — wool, viscose, and synthetic rugs each need a different approach. Send a close-up photo if you are not sure.
What we clean
- Wool and hand-knotted rugs — colour is tested first where older dyes can move
- Viscose and silk-look rugs — cleaned with less moisture so they do not brown or mark
- Shaggy and high-pile rugs — worked through so grit at the base comes out
- Synthetic rugs, runners, and entrance mats — food spills, pet marks, and traffic lanes
From a job in Cape Town
This rug had food spills and a worn traffic lane. Left is how it looked when we arrived.

How booking works
- Send your suburb, a photo of the rug, and what needs cleaning — size or fibre if you know it.
- We come back with a price and available times.
- We clean on-site once you are happy to book.
Fresh spills clean up better than marks that have been walked on for months. Pet urine that soaked through to the backing can leave a shadow or a smell that on-site cleaning only reduces. Some dyes bleed — if the colour test shows risk, we tell you before we start.
Frequently asked questions
Straight answers before you book.
How do I get a quote?
WhatsApp or call 064 589 4148, or use the form below. A photo of the rug helps — size or fibre too, if you know it.
How much does rug cleaning cost in Cape Town?
From R250 for a small area rug. Final price depends on size, condition, and how much work is needed — we confirm a fixed amount before you book. WhatsApp a photo for a quote.
Can every stain come out?
Not always. Fresh spills respond better than old, set-in marks, and some dyes or fibres limit what is possible. We are honest about what cleaning can improve.
How long until we can walk on the rug again?
Most rugs are dry enough to walk on within a few hours. Cape Town winters can slow drying — we tell you what to expect before we leave.
Do you clean rugs across Cape Town?
Yes. We clean area rugs, runners, and decorative rugs on-site across Cape Town and nearby suburbs.
